Nestled in the heart of Texas Hill Country, Senna Hills is a well-maintained neighborhood that offers plenty of amenities for residents to enjoy. The area is bordered by Bee Caves Road on the south, which gives easy access to Loop 360, and puts downtown just 13 miles away. And, the neighborhood is surrounded by rolling hills and plenty of green space, giving residents beautiful views of the area.

Development of Senna Hills began in 1994, and new homes are still being built. The subdivision boasts about 350 single-family homes, many of which are situated on large lots and put a focus on the outdoors, with features like wooden decks and patios, pebble sidewalks, and stonewalled entryways. Insides of homes feature expansive kitchens, ornate fireplaces, oversized windows, vaulted ceilings, and more. From January 2009 – May 2010, the average home price was $328,000 - $824,000, while sizes ranged from 1,800 to 5,900 square feet.

Residents of the subdivision are required to be a part of the Senna Hills Owner’s Association for a fee of $840 per year or $70 per month. The cost covers things like community maintenance, recreational facility upkeep, and events that happen throughout the year.

The neighborhood gives residents access to a variety of recreational opportunities. The Senna Hills amenity center features a large swimming pool and wading pool, basketball and tennis courts, and a play scape for children. Residents can also get access to the walking trails that weave through the greenbelt. For those who enjoy golf, the award-winning Barton Creek course is just three miles away. Made up of four challenging courses, the club has been ranked by Golf World as the #1 Golf Resort in Texas.

Nearby the neighborhood – just 9 miles away – is the Barton Creek Square Mall that offers large anchor stores like Macy’s and J.C. Penney, as well as a large movie theater and several dining options. The Shops at the Galleria are also located just 3 miles away at the intersection of Highway 71 and Bee Caves Road. This outdoor shopping mall is home to larger stores like Old Navy and Best Buy, as well as specialty stores, an H.E.B. grocery store, and a salon.

Children living in the Senna Hills neighborhood will attend schools that are part of the acclaimed Eanes Independent School District, which is known for its outstanding curriculum and extra-curricular activities. The district includes Barton Creek Elementary School, West Ridge Middle School, and Westlake High School. There are also several private schools within a few miles including St. Michael’s Catholic Academy, St. Gabriel’s Catholic School, Lake Hills Montessori and The Children’s Center of Austin.
